Pictures show progress at March 09, and the pre 1924 number (LO39) found on the side.

10. Track Maintenance

Coordinator is Colin Wilmot. This group is working on the maintenance of tracks on the loopline (below left) and Buxton (below right).

11. 4001 Engine.

The coordinator for this project is John Knotek, who is overhauling the spare ALCO 244 engine for eventual installation in locomotive 4001.

12. Buxton Station and Precinct.

Coordinator is Ian Sheppard. The initial phase of this project will be the erection of the former Burrawang Platform building and the former Summit Tank Signal Box which will form the basis of the creation of a full branch-line station at Buxton. In conjunction with the Signal & Safe-working Group, Buxton will eventually be fully signalled utilising the signal box with the frame recovered recently from Moss Vale.
